Word on the street has been that the entire residence was remodeled by Frank Gehry to the tune of $2.7 million dollars. Well, I can report that there were no titanium panels or razor-sharp edges but plenty of flat surfaces. There were, for example, <em>flat<\/em> hardwood floors, <em>flat<\/em> marble-top tables and a <em>flat <\/em>bar.  <em>Fascinating. <\/em>Doesn&#8217;t sound too exciting, does it? I&#8217;ll compensate by talking about notable things that did <em>not <\/em>happen:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00b7<\/strong> There were no drunken robots (while I was there)<br \/>\n<strong>\u00b7<\/strong> Mr Potatohead was not making out with a bran muffin in a corner (while I was there)<br \/>\n<strong>\u00b7<\/strong> There was no smashing of celery tubes (while I was there)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday, The Love Bug and I were cordially invited to the newly renovated Potatohead Estate.
