Like everyone else, I occasionally fall ill. Generally, it occurs around this time of year, and it’s usually a cold or flu that lingers for a week or two. I was so confident that I had conquered the winter blahs, I spent last night at my favorite karaoke bar eating steak frites. But today everyone in the house has succumbed to the killer cold and we’ve been self-medicating ourselves with everything from Triaminic and Emergen-C to some leftover Canadian bird flu vaccine (just in case). So in the spirit of bed rest, Kiran’s World will be taking a brief hiatus while we all recuperate and get our vim and verve back.
