Elmo thought slipping on a wet leaf\u00a0was bad enough. Going flying into the curb head first and preventing facial disfigurement with his hands was even less fun. But shattering his pinky finger was the worst of all. And walking around in denial all day with a bruised hand and a throbbing finger didn’t\u00a0change the fact that it was BROKEN. Especially not after he went to\u00a0Cedars Sinai at 10PM and the chirpy Asian physician’s assistant took an x-ray to confirm. Now he has\u00a0to wear an increasingly sweaty, smelly splint for 3-4 weeks while the finger heals. Of course, it could be worse. He\u00a0could have broken his\u00a0nose or his arm.
