When I karaoke with my sippy cup, I favor songs that showcase my range. My specialties include Billy Joel’s ballads and Lloyd Williams’ “Shout”. In fact, during the part in the song where there’s a decrescendo – “A little bit softer now” – I like to crouch down just to dazzle everyone with my athletic prowess during the “A little bit louder now” part. – Kiran
Ughhhhhh…soooooooo tired today. I think my metabolism still hasn’t adjusted to doing yoga every day instead of my usual “Cardio-Funk-Pole Dancing”. – Kiran
When I first met our neighbor’s dog, Patches, I got scared and hid in my closet for two hours. I mean, uh, I didn’t get scared. What I meant to say was I flexed and then my shirt ripped off because my muscles are so big. True story. – Kiran

While Mom and Dad spend an extra couple days in San Diego, I’m interviewing the sofa for the blog. It’s green. Which isn’t really news, but nothing else is happening today so this is pretty much all I’ve got to work with. Although I could Photoshop a dinosaur into the photo. Then it’d be “Sofa fights a dinosaur!” – Kiran

Tomorrow we are headed to the San Diego Comic Convention. This year I’m planning to: 1. Stock up on all my superhero accessories, i.e. utility belts, capes, scrunchies etc. ; 2. Watch the Superhero Fashion Show Benefit where I’m sure we’ll learn that there’s more to superhero fashion than just the tights; and 3. Attend the Marvel Comics Symposium which is introducing its newest superhero: Super Face. By day he plays acoustic guitar at an independently-owned coffee shop but by night he fights crime and injustice as an alpha-mutant with super-fast face-healing abilities. (It’s all a bit unclear, but it sounds promising.) – Kiran
