Lately, it seems like the GOP is rife with quirky characters who want people to think they’re so conservative they’re crazy, but are really just crazy for crazy’s sake. They are the center of a Venn diagram between lobbyist-driven, half-baked, and desperate that characterizes “the political flamboyant”. They are great at lying and will do anything to get their way, which makes them especially good at politics and playing Battleship. – Kiran

Ending sentences with “Bright Star” is my new favorite game. Example: “Ughhh, I ate too many Manwiches Bright Star!” Or, “This pizza needs more Ranch dressing Bright Star!” It’s just such a nice, easy way to turn a sentence-frown upside down. – Shaan
