Kiran and Shaan's World

Today I’m reviewing the latest non-fiction book published by Knopf entitled “The Passive-Aggressive Use of Bronzer: An American Tragedy”. Alternately, Kiran is working on a self-help book called “How to Overcompensate for Beauty or Undercompensate or Both”. – Shaan

Good news! I am finally feeling hale and hearty enough to read emails on my laptop. What was my path to recovery you ask? Plenty of vitamin B complex, milk thistle, anti-oxidents and two codeine tablets “imported” from Canada. – Kiran

As you can see, Kiran is still feeling like the Ebola has a death grip on him and has been pretty much living in his bed. To speed his recovery, Kiran’s doctor has suggested an unconventional holistic remedy which will harness the recuperative properties found in cashmere socks from Brooks Brothers, one case of Formula 50 Vitamin Waters and one box of Powerbars. – Shaan

Sorry for the lack of posts. As some of you may have heard I am sick and having difficulty just staying conscious enough to type this post. The doctor says it’s not Ebola, but judging by the amount of goo coming out of my mouth I want a second opinion. Okay, okay, I’m kidding about the Ebola thing, but just barely. Posts will resume shortly assuming I’ve recovered from this death-virus. If not, assume that the Ebola got me. – Kiran

I have an idea that will revolutionize urban micro-waste management: Self-cleaning diapers. Who can I contact in Congress to make this bold dream a reality? – Shaan

[Sniff, sniff] Ah, summer is finally in the air. Everyone’s stoked for four-day weekends and long sultry days of summertime laziness and pool-humid ambience. – Kiran 

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY

Today, Shaan and I pay tribute to Dad. How special is our Dad, you ask? Who else can use chopsticks for eating and clicking the remote control, always smells of Zesty Mandarin Orchid via specialized soaps and captures the essence of awesomeness? Only one man…our Dad. Happy Father’s Day, Dad! – Kiran  

Watch out ladies – Shaan has come up with a pick-up line so powerful, the Pentagon has classified it as “Nuclear Sexy.” – Kiran

DID I HEAR A CHALLENGE?

Oh yeah. I bet I could dunk a whole cantaloupe straight into our neighbor’s basketball hoop from across the street. OH YEAH. Make that an orange! (Betting starts at 5 PM EST. Deeds to houses, supermodels and Ferraris accepted.) – Kiran

Have you noticed how small everything is now? I mean really. Everything is so small! Even houses are small. Same with hotel rooms, iPods and MP3 players: All small. Much like me. This reaffirms my prediction for 2008: “Small is the new hot. And small is going to take over the world.” – Shaan
