Today marks Midweek Madness, where we will be phonetically spelling words like  “komplicayted”, speaking with Pierce-Brosnan-esque accents and consoling the lone Toyota that’s always parked next to four Bentleys, a Ferrari, nine Mercedes and a vintage Mustang at the gym. – Shaan

IMG_0275We hear you loud and clear: Pictures are not loading for you. The tech team is hard at work coming up with a fix. There have been a number of other tech complaints — the login button not showing up in the menu toolbar, other browsers not playing nicely with the new comments, images not showing up in our feeds — and I’m assured that new servers are being purchased, code rewritten and other tech things that I do not understand are being done to iron things out. It might take a few hours to get fixed, so I appreciate you bearing with us. – Shaan

According to Papa Smurf, last week Elmo got stuck in an elevator at Club 17. Always resourceful, Elmo pried the elevator doors open with chopsticks and celebrated his freedom with tequila. He’s like a drunken MacGyver! – Shaan

IMG_0275Today I blame Big Bird for ruining my reality show spin-off ‘Bicycle Wheelies Gone Wrong’. How did it all come to a screeching halt when we had trailers filmed, launch materials and sponsors lined up? Because the head honchos at the Discovery Channel decided to go with Big Bird’s reality show “Lobsterita” which follows the daily exploits of deep sea crustaceans. Seriously? A show about lobsters? If this doesn’t prove God doesn’t exist, I don’t know what does.* – Kiran

*Not counting science, The Hills and that time the cashier at Taco Bell forgot my mild sauce.

P1040330Miao Miao has spent the better part of the morning preparing his special Thai chicken chilli with Sichuan peppercorns, cinnamon and chipotle. Miao Miao insists that his dish is best eaten with chopsticks. But, seriously, how are we going to eat this without getting impaled with our chopsticks. – Kiran
