Finally got around to seeing “Green Lantern” and I will admit that it was a notch better then “Ghost Rider”. How did Warner Bros. spend $300 million dollars on this thing yet never stop to think “Wait, the bad guy is diarrhea? That can’t be right.” – Shaan

It’s going to be ninety-something degrees in OC today. Hotness besieges us on all sides! Need to beat that heat? Let’s beat it together – with this handy list:

1. No A/C? Move into your refrigerator until October;

2. The temperature never gets too hot—when you live in an igloo! It’s very impractical, though;

3. Your body produces “sweat” through pores in the skin, which subsequently cools you by pulling heat energy away from the body as it evaporates – try that;

4. Don’t stand directly in the sun, or on a planet warmed by the sun’s harsh rays; and

5. Live underwater.

I’m looking for a summer job. I’d prefer to do something that would involve working with cats, all you can eat buffets and free stuff for me. But I’m flexible. I’d rather not wear a uniform or a costume. I’d like an expense account and the ability to order all of the sparkly pens I want – if office supplies are involved.
