Old school commercials that integrated celebrity rapping with hip hop dancing are an excruciating reminder that some musical collaborations are not meant to be. It’s ill-conceived creative promotions like these that prompted me to specifically write “No rapping promo appearances”-language into all of my contracts. – Kiran
